Over the weekend, I had a wonderful opportunity to shoot some photographs in the home of a friend, an amazing house in Daniel Island, South Carolina, just outside of Charleston. Designed in the Charleston “single-style” this amazing place looks like the fantasy all-American house, without the pretense. Without any staging, or styling, or application of anything artificial, I was able to photograph in and around the house to capture the owner’s sense of style. Their aesthetic is a lovely one, but it was more than the warm light and beautiful art that got me. The entire time I was there, the place was full of laughter and it occurred to me, that no matter what a house’s style is or how it is decorated, it is truly the people within that makes it a home.

    1. Thank you – I thought so too. The owner’s of the home had great taste in everything, even flowers. Best wishes, J
