Met up with my Mom and Dad today for lunch at the Shell Oyster Bar. The Shell, a Tallahassee, Florida institution, is beloved by a wide variety of folks – everyone from lobbyists to college students, to farmers, pile in for oysters (fresh out of Apalachicola… Bay) and some of the best fried seafood you’ll ever eat. We started our meal with a bunch of raw oysters – served the Southern way, on the half shell, with hot sauce and saltine crackers before proceeding to shrimp and grouper specials; delicious!
