These portraits were taken of rider Nicolette Merle-Smith and horse Cappuccino Ice shortly after they won Preliminary Rider in the Intermediate show jumping portion of the Red Hills International Horse Trials in Tallahassee, Florida on March 10, 2013. Nicolette is a wonderful rider and Cappuccino Ice was arguably my favorite horse in the competition, so this was a real honor. Both Nicolette and Cappuccino posed beautifully – thank you!
